Our principal investigator, Prof. Francesca Tinti, was invited by the Friends of Deerhurst Church to deliver the Deerhurst Lecture 2022 on 17 September. Her talk was entitled «Worcester, Odda of Deerhurst and lay participation in the written culture of pre-Conquest England».
The lecture was delivered in the Priory Church of St Mary at Deerhurst, Gloucestershire, one of the best preserved early medieval churches in England, which dates from the early ninth century.
